Attorney and author, William Perry Pendley, explains how America’s energy boom is changing geopolitics just as Reagan foresaw.

Jimmy Carter was wrong about oil and gas and Reagan was right

Jimmy Carter raised his voice during the United States Presidential Debates of 1976 and yelled out to the United States at large: “We got about 35 years of oil left. We’re going to run out of oil.” He said it again in 1977, revising his forecast and stating that the wells would turn to dust by 2007.

President Ronald Reagan had a different view. He had a vision of America tapping its massive holdings of undeveloped lands for natural gas and oil. William Perry Pendley of the Washington Examiner joins Kim to discuss his latest article, America’s Energy Boom is Changing, Just as Reagan Foresaw.” Carter was wrong. Reagan was right. It’s not only pithy but factual. Pendley and Kim discuss how Reagan navigated the United States to a path of energy independence.
