Tump makes Historic Speech on Presidents Day

Kim and Producer Steve start off the show with a brief analysis of President Trump’s speech in Miami. Trump’s firm declarations against Socialism, Maduro and a refusal to tolerate interference from Russia and China are unambiguous and direct.

“To those who would try to impose socialism on the United States, we again deliver a very simple message. America will never be a socialist country.”

Kim and Steve will continue to examine the speech and its implications throughout the week. If you missed Trump’s speech, you can view it here:

Americhicks Role Model: Fanny Crosby

Kim shares the story of Fanny Crosby. Crosby was born in 1820 and lost her sight soon after her birth. Crosby overcame the obstacle of blindness with an appreciation of the gift the loss had given her, which was a deep devotion and love of Church and the Lord.

“It seemed intended by the blessed providence of God that I should be blind all my life, and I thank him for the dispensation. If perfect earthly sight were offered me tomorrow I would not accept it. I might not have sung hymns to the praise of God if I had been distracted by the beautiful and interesting things about me.”

Crosby would go on to write over 8,000 hymns and gospel songs. In her later life, she devoted her time to mission work in New York City, where she became a well-known sight in missions across the city where she became known as Aunt Fanny by those who she helped and those who worked alongside her.

Democrat-Sponsored “Red Flag Bill” Would Give Courts Power to Take Firearms

Author and speaker Laura Carno joins Kim to talk about House Bill 19-177 (HB19-177). The bill would allow certain individuals (family, household members, and law enforcement officers) to ask the court for a temporary extreme risk protection order (ERPO).  The “red flag” label for the bill derives from its intent to allow the courts to disarm an individual showing clear signs of harming themselves or others.

Opposition for the bill is focused on a lack of due process the bill affords the subjects of the ERPO. Listen to Laura on today’s show and for more information go to comprehensive break down of the proposed bill at Rally for our Rights, a “non-partisan grassroots organization dedicated to defending and preserving the gun rights of all Americans.”

Featured Guest—Sonia McGarrity: The Left’s Support of Late-Term Abortion

Sonia Mcgarrity joins Kim as the show’s featured guest. McGarrity has five biological children, all boys. One of their sons has Down Syndrome. The McGarrity’s have adopted three girls into their family that also have Downs Syndrome. McGarrity shares her personal experience of raising special needs children and her opposition to abortion in general and specifically for children diagnosed prenatally with Downs Syndrome. Kim and McGarrity go on to discuss Virginia Governor (D) Ralph Northam’s endorsement of a bill that legalizes abortion at any point up until birth and recent late-term abortion legislation passed by New York governor (D) Andrew Cuomo.
